Eleanor.

She picks and eats all the chocolate chips out of her chocolate chip pancakes.

She feeds the dog over the edge of the high chair.

She has ridiculously long hair.

She loves to dance.

She calls people on the phone and talks for quite a while.

She is obsessed with coffee. ("Cohhf-cohhf." I pronounced it "Coff-coff" the other day. She shook her head and corrected me. It's like the first sound in Channukka.)

She does not listen much.

She loves books - she read John Grisham in the car yesterday for 30 minutes.

Sometimes she gets so mad at me that she holds her breath until she turns red.

Sometimes she holds her breath just to get a reaction from me. Then when I'm on the verge of tears, she releases her breath and laughs. Despite what she thinks, it is not funny.

She is still teeny tiny.

She eats a hundred raisins a day.

She loves to carry a purse.

She doesn't sit still for more than 30 seconds. No wonder she's so skinny.

She gives me random hugs.

She hates to hold hands, unless she really needs help or wants to show me something. In fact, if I hold her hand, she takes the other hand and rips our hands apart. If she badly needs help doing something, she wrinkles her nose with disgust and gingerly takes my hand in between her index finger and thumb.

She has a total sweet tooth.

She is very cautious about trying new physical things. Like steps or hills. But, she likes to jump off of benches and picnic tables.

She says many words, phrases, and things we don't understand.

She loves her daddy. Mommy's just "eh."
