Smiles for me only.
Okay, sorry for the long gap between posts. My camera has some strange affliction that causes its batteries to expire often. So, that is why there are no pictures occasionally. But, today was a very exciting day! At Eleanor's most awake moment this morning, I crouched down over her and smiled, and...she smiled back! For the first time, she actually smiled at me. And, it actually happened twice. :o)

try using rechargable batteries, they seem to last longer and you can recharge!

I'm gonna have to agree with jessica, we love some rechargables around here and they do last so much longer than the regular ones anyway. If you have one of those cameras that has its own type of battery, then you may have to buy new ones. I hope you figure it out soon, I love me some Eleanor pics :)
I am so happy for you! I know you must have melted inside when you saw those first smiles. They really are amazing, aren't they. Wait until the first laugh - that is going to sound heavenly!
(I also third the rechargable batteries; they were a must in our other camera)!
