Baking Cookies with Eyes and Smiles.

So, for the record, I never coslept.

And, do you know why? Because for the life I me, I could not figure out how to get the side of the blasted cosleeper into cosleeping mode. And, sure, I brought the girls into bed with me at 5 am after long newborn nights of wailing. But, I am way too much of a nervous nelly to want them in bed with me all night. So, I basically used the cosleeper as a bassinet. I registered for and received it when I was pregnant with Sophie. It was set up in our room at the College Park house for months. When Eleanor was born healthy and (mostly) happy, out it came. And, she slept there for four months. Young Josephine was in and out of it until she was six months old, and pulling herself out of it. Haha. And, Josephine will almost certainly be our last baby. So, before we left for the beach, I took some sad-for-me-silly-for-them pictures of the girls in the cosleeper. And, then, my heart hurt as I put it away.

Baylys at Bethany Beach.

The Baylys are Back!!!

Hi friends! So, late Thursday afternoon, we got back from a week of vacation. And, while we were out last night (we couldn't quite let go of our week off), our computer was returned virus-free!!! And, our internet has been restored. So, here we are! Be ready for a deluge of pictures.

As for the girls, they have change so much. Right now, Josephine is in the jumper and Eleanor is on the couch. They are laughing and screaming at each other and jumping up and down. Josephine is trying to crawl all the time and easily getting around with a combination of lunging, army crawling, rolling, and dragging herself. She is still in love with and calls me "Mama." (And not in the way all seven month olds do - she is gifted. Haha.) She also gives me kisses, babbles, and even pulled up on my pant leg. She is getting to be such a full-blown baby. No more newborn-ness here.

Eleanor is just a fancy little talking machine.

One million pictures, coming right up.

GMa(i)lfunction.

So, I am definitely still around! But, my google account (or something) apparently isn't. Today, though, I am broadcasting to you from the abode of my lovely in-laws. Update:

Eleanor: Sassy, smart, loud, adorable, and fast.
Josephine: Snuggly, sometimes-serious-sometimes-smile-y, hungry.
Me: Starting graduate school in 27 days.

Fastest Update Ever. Saw Tracy Chapman 3 hours away last night. Got home at 2:15. Pumped. Fell asleep at 3. Josephine was up at 5. Fed her. Both girls were up for good at 6:15.

Not quite enough sleep for CAGB.
